Management Sessions: access without your password
Fansly’s Management Sessions (external site) let you create a named session, choose what it can do, and share a single-use link with the person who needs access. You can edit the permissions or delete the session whenever you like. Fansly says sensitive areas such as payouts and account closure are always restricted.
Fansly also makes clear that you are responsible for everything done through a session you create, so give each person only the access they need and remove it as soon as they no longer need it.
The basics Fansly recommends
- Turn on two-factor authentication, as Fansly’s creator security FAQ (external site) recommends.
- Use Management Sessions rather than sharing your password with anyone.
- Keep your payout details in your own name and check they have not changed.
- Review active sessions regularly and delete any you do not recognise or no longer use.

If an agency is involved
Fansly’s article on applying as an agency, producer or other (external site) says accounts are registered with the legal information of the primary account owner, who is the person eligible to receive payouts. In practice, that means the account and the payouts should stay with the creator, and an agency should work through the access you grant.
If anyone asks for your password, or to change the payout details to their own account, stop and ask why. Both are on our list of things to check before you sign.

Protecting your content
Fansly describes its own protections in keep your content safe (external site), including watermarks you can add from the creator dashboard. If content is stolen, it suggests identifying the watermark, documenting the evidence and reporting it to Fansly, and it mentions help with DMCA takedowns.
